The past month of may, in the framework of a key event for the energy innovation in the rural environment, Dña. Begoña García Bernal, Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food, visited the facilities of Nomad Solar Energy to learn first-hand about our solution: the Nomad Energy Box.
During the visit, the team of Nomad showed in operation this unit portable solar and autonomous, capable of generating up to 107 kWp and operate without a network connection. Designed to adapt to any terrain and situation —from farms and livestock to areas of emergency or event— the Nomad Energy Box represents an energy solution real, modular and quick to deploy.
Clean Energy, Immediately And Without Civil Work
In a context where the sustainability and resilience of energy are needed more than ever, the Secretary of State welcomed the proposal of a Nomad as a key tool to promote energy self-sufficiency in agricultural sectors, especially in areas where network access is limited or unreliable.
During the day, put the focus is also on the potential of the hybrid system, which allows you to combine solar power with storage battery and, when required, with generators of support. A solution adaptable to different realities rural, capable of providing a constant supply, and drastically reduce emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.

The institutional visit reflects the growing interest in technological solutions that can respond effectively to the energy challenge in the field agri-food, where access to energy is the difference in the competitiveness, sustainability and future of many farms.
