From 9 to 11 July 2025, Nomad Solar Energy participated in Expominas 2025, one of the main meetings of the mining and energy sectors of Latin America, held in Quito, Ecuador. Discovers our presence marked a milestone in the consolidation of the company in the market of ecuador, where the demand for energy solutions in off-grid and sustainable is booming.
A new energy scenario in Ecuador
The recent entry into force of presidential decree 032, which requires large energy consumers to autogenerate a part of its demands in a period of 18 months, has driven an unprecedented transformation in the energy system of ecuador. In this context, Nomad Solar Energy presented its proposal for a value-based solutions for autonomous energy solar, adapted to sectors that operate in remote areas or with limited infrastructure.
High receptivity in strategic sectors
During the fair, we held meetings with key stakeholders in the mining sector, energy and government. The interest for our solutions was especially high in:
- Mining camps and oil, looking for energy efficiency and reduction of dependency on fossil fuels.
- Rural electrification projects, where it is necessary to carry energy to homes that are not connected to the national electricity grid.
- Agribusiness and shrimp farmingsectors that operate in remote areas and need to clean energy sources, scalable, and reliable.
These sectors found in Nomad Solar Energy an alternative practical and effective to address their energy challenges, thanks to our energy solutions to off-grid designed for demanding conditions.
Regional positioning with sustainable impact
Participation in Expominas 2025 not only strengthened our presence in Ecuador, but also consolidated the positioning of Nomad Solar Energy as an innovative provider of energy solutions, decentralized. The combination of technology, flexibility and sustainability of our proposals was perceived as a differential in front of the current challenges of the energy market regional.
