Given the critical nature of gas distribution, an autonomous and reliable power source was essential, one capable of keeping essential loads running regardless of grid availability. Fluctuations and interruptions in the conventional power supply posed a direct risk to operational continuity.

The solution: solar self-consumption for always-on operations
Nomad Solar Energy deployed a Nomad Energy Box 20 combined with an external battery and a genset, while also keeping the grid connection as part of the integrated system.
The Split configuration allows the solar array to be adapted to the space available on the client’s site. The result is a four-source hybrid system, with all sources managed in coordination to maximize solar self-consumption and ensure energy continuity during any grid outage.
