Madrid, 19 May 2025 – NOMAD Solar Energy and AMPER have signed an agreement to lay the foundations for the development of a cutting-edge integrated solution that will merge NOMAD’s advanced mobile solar technology with AMPER’s expertise in electrical solutions, including storage systems, power electronics and SCADA Master-EMS systems for intelligent energy management. This strategic collaboration will ensure the provision of robust electrical systems to guarantee continuous supply in units deployed in defence, and will be particularly relevant to other high-value markets.
This agreement stems from the mutual recognition of the existing synergies between the two companies, whose technological capabilities, experience and positioning are complementary and can generate significant opportunities for collaboration.
César Sánchez, director of the Radar and Control unit at Amper, said: “This partnership with Nomad Solar Energy represents a great opportunity for us. It will allow us to integrate our capabilities in radar, storage and energy control with Nomad’s innovative mobile solar technology. This is essential to be able to offer units deployed in defence energy solutions that are not only viable and efficient, but also include a sovereign technological component that is crucial for security and autonomy.”
Eneko de Irala, VP of Sales at Nomad Solar Energy, commented: “We are excited about the potential of this collaboration to combine our innovative mobile solar energy solutions with AMPER’s solid experience in electrical systems. We believe that together we can provide robust and reliable energy solutions, especially crucial for critical applications such as deployed defence units.”
