From 7 to 11 April, Nomad Solar Energy took part in Bauma 2025, the world’s leading international trade fair for construction machinery and solutions. From our booth in the startup pavilion, we presented a proposal designed for one of the sector’s most urgent challenges: ensuring reliable, clean and mobile energy for increasingly demanding work environments.
A solution designed for the reality of construction
The Nomad Energy Box modular solar power system was met with enthusiasm by construction companies, equipment rental firms and contractors from different parts of the world. The key: an off-grid, modular and transportable solar solution, able to adapt to the real pace and conditions of a worksite, even in remote locations or without access to mains power.
In a sector moving towards greater energy efficiency and sustainability, Nomad offers a concrete alternative, designed to keep up with the real pace of work:

During the fair, many companies in the sector asked us how we differ from traditional solar solutions. The answer is simple: our solution is made for worksites, not for fixed or residential environments.
Unlike fixed or residential systems, Nomad lets you deploy solar energy at any stage of the project, with no downtime or investment in additional infrastructure. The ability to scale the system and move it according to the needs of the worksite was one of the aspects most valued by attendees.
International interest, shared needs
We were visited by construction companies facing the same challenges: how to power technical offices, containers, electric tools and auxiliary machinery on site cleanly and continuously, without relying on polluting generators or expensive temporary installations.
Our system offers a concrete, validated alternative to meet that need.
