From 7 to 11 April, Nomad Solar Energy took part in Bauma 2025, the world’s leading international trade fair for construction machinery and industry solutions. From our booth in the startup pavilion, we presented an energy solution designed to address one of the sector’s most urgent challenges: ensuring a reliable, clean and mobile energy source for increasingly demanding construction environments.
A solution designed for the reality of construction
The Nomad Energy Box modular solar energy system drew great interest from construction companies, equipment rental firms and contractors around the world. What is the key? A fully autonomous, modular and transportable solar solution, able to adapt to the real pace and changing conditions of a worksite —even in remote locations with no access to the grid. In a sector moving towards energy efficiency and sustainability, Nomad offers a practical and realistic alternative, designed specifically to perform on site:

- Immediate reduction of emissions and noise on site.
- Simple operation, with no need for specialised technical personnel.
Solar energy designed for construction
During the fair, many companies came to ask us what sets us apart from traditional solar systems. The answer is simple: our system is designed for worksites, not for static or residential environments. Unlike fixed or domestic solar installations, Nomad lets you deploy solar energy at any phase of the project, without interruption and without the need for additional infrastructure.
The ability to scale the system and move it as the worksite evolves was one of the aspects most valued by visitors.
International interest, shared challenges
We were visited by construction companies from many different countries, all facing the same challenge: how to power reliable technical offices, containers, electric tools and auxiliary machinery without relying on noisy, polluting generators or expensive, temporary electrical installations. Our system offers a validated, real-world alternative to meet that need.
